We had also identified children or families who have lost their earning members to Covid. It's been lockdown in the city since almost two months , people have no work . Though the PDS is working but still it cannot fulfill all the needs of people.

Chetana Child and Women Welfare Society along with financial support from Punjab National Bank distributed 25 packets of dry ration to the most needy families.The program was conducted in the presence of official from Punjab National Bank and team of Chetana. We wish to continue the drive in future too.

As we all know that the pandemic has taken its toll and have affected the children badly too.Loss of employment of elder members of the family has forced lot of children to work. Hence it became necessary to do take precautionary measures , distribution of ration can be one of the remedy to stop them, at least for a short span of time.
