Distribution of Dry Ration Packets

Chetna Child and Woman Welfare Society, a social organization, has been distributing packets of dry rations containing flour, pulses, poha, spices, soaps etc. to poor and needy families affected by lock-down for the past several months. In continuation of this sequence, the organization distributed ration packets to more than 100 families in Teli Marenga Village one of our Hotspot in Tokapal Site on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day. Due to the lock-down, such families whose livelihood used to work daily are facing a lot of hardship. In this case, they should be provided with dry ration. The organization has decided to get it done.

Due to the lock down caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Chetana Jagdalpur helping those such families who are having difficulty in livelihood through ration packets. Sarpanch of Teli Marenga Village Shri Jayman Kashyap Distributed Ration packets through Chetana and said that such excellent work by the institution is commendable, which can reduce the suffering of the needy. During the ration packet distribution, along with the Sarpanch, the ward members of village Teli Marenga Chetan Kashyap, Chandar Lal Kashyap, Son Singh Baghel, Manbati, Assistant Secretary Rohit Kashyap and also in the presence of Anganwadi operator Vaidehi Maurya. During this, Program Manager Mrs. Rekha Pareya, Kanak Kashyap, Geeta Sahu, Rahul Yadav, Meena, Preeti, Allin were present from Chetna Jagdalpur. Also, Sarpanch Shri Kashyap informed that families who do not have ration cards will also be given ration by the government. The distribution of ration was done keeping in mind the social distance and all the activities were done keeping in mind the parameters of COVID-19. Relief on the faces of beneficiaries taking ration packets were observed.
