World Malaria Day - 2024

World Malaria Day is celebrated all over the world on 25th April, the sole purpose of celebrating this day is to spread awareness among the people about this deadly disease caused by mosquitoes, every year crores of people across the world fall prey to malaria.

With the aim of making people aware about the prevention and prevention of malaria, the organization Chetna Child and Women Welfare Society organized an awareness program in all the blocks of its working area Bakavand, Tokapal, Bastar, Darbha, Bastanar, Lohandiguda, Jagdalpur. In which detailed information was given about what is malaria, its symptoms, treatment and prevention due to malaria, along with this, medicines were sprayed to prevent mosquitoes from breeding where there was accumulation of water and 300 mosquito nets were also distributed.

Whenever there is an opportunity while doing all the volunteer work, it is advised to immediately spray kerosene oil wherever water accumulation is seen and if anyone has fever or someone says today When I am not feeling well, I am advised to immediately go to the nearest health center to get tested for malaria and follow up is also taken during the next appointment.
