Started in 1997 as Schoolnet, IL&FS Education and Technology Services Limited (IL&FS Education) is the social infrastructure arm of IL&FS group.IL&FS Group is India's largest infrastructure leasing and financing services company whose investors include LIC of India (largest public insurance provider), Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Orix Japan. Our core strength is in delivering large scale projects in PPP mode. We are focused on nurturing the human capital by building India's Education, Employability & Employment.

It works in the key areas of Education, Skill Development, Healthcare and Cluster Development for long term and sustainable impact. Its 3E model has been recognized by McKinsey and Company as one of the top two global initiatives aimed at faster and inclusive growth. Globally, It delivers programmes in 17 countries of Africa, Middle East and South East Asia.

Currently, it works with more than 10 Central and 28 State Government departments, several Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs), Multi - lateral agencies and 1500+ private companies as a partner to their social development goals. Together with our subsidiary companies, IL&FS Skills and IL&FS Clusters it has impacted over 15 million people in India.
